BIRDS, BUGS & BUSH
4TK is partnering with Maroondah City Council to deliver our own environmental program.
Come join us on Thursday mornings at 10:30am as we explore Ringwood Lake
and surrounds.
We are bug detectives - scouring the water to learn about the species within, while recording our findings.
We are also keen bird watchers and record our sightings
on iNaturalist.
Thanks to Maroondah City Council for providing a $5,000 community Grant to allow us to purchase all of the equipment needed to make this a wonderful project
in 2025-26.
training program
4Tk delivers a training program to equip youth for whatever stage they’re at - employment, enrolling in a course, independent living skills and socialisation.
This is a bespoke program, delivered one on one, allowing the client to learn at their own pace. 4TK provides opportunities in the Mexican Food Truck and the cafe to learn hospitality skills, along with other work experience opportunities.

WALK AND TALK
Walk and Talk is a program for youth who are struggling to regularly attend Secondary School. Students meet at The Base (8 Station St Ringwood), grab a complimentary drink from our coffee window, and go for a slow, short walk around Ringwood Lake. They can chat, or not. No expectation. No pressure. It’s all about taking the first step. Just turning up.
